Sassa r350 grant payment date: The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is in charge of distributing grants and allowances to disadvantaged people in the country who require financial assistance.

SASSA beneficiaries can get their SASSA payments from certain supermarkets, such as Pick n Pay, Boxer, USave merchants, Checkers, and Shoprite, using their SASSA card, CashSend, or by having the money transferred directly into their bank account.

The temporary R350 sassa grant has no set payment date.You do not need to withdraw your payment on the first day; once it is sent to your account, it will remain there until you need it.

SASSA grant types and amounts

SRD Grant: sassa r350 grant payment date

The SRD (Social Relief Distress Grant) is intended for South African citizens, asylum seekers, refugees, and special permit holders aged 18 to 60. To be eligible for this grant, these individuals must not have the necessary means or receive any social grants, are not contributing/eligible for UIF payment, and receive no other financial support. This grant is valued at R350 per month.sassa r350 grant payment date

Child Support Grant:

If you are in financial need, you may be eligible for a grant to assist you in raising your child. You must be the primary caregiver for the child (parent, grandparent, or child over the age of 16 leading the family) and pass the means test. Each child will receive R500 per month. You will receive R750 per month for each orphaned child if you are the primary caregiver (the R500 CSG and the R250 top-up).sassa r350 grant payment date

Foster Child Support:

You will also be eligible for a grant if you have a foster child. A foster child is someone who has been placed in your care by the court because they have been orphaned, abandoned, abused, placed at risk, or neglected. Foster child support is R1 120 per month for each child.

Care Dependency Grant:

This grant is intended for caregivers of children with severe disabilities who may require full-time and specialized care. This grant covers children from birth to the age of 18 and amounts to R2 080 per month per child.

Disability Grant:

Individuals with a mental and/or physical disability who are unable to work for more than 6 months are eligible for this grant. Individuals are offered a temporary disability grant if their illness lasts for 6-12 months and a permanent grant if it lasts longer than a year. It is important to note that a permanent disability grant does not imply that you will receive it for the rest of your life, but rather that it will last for more than a year. A disability grant has a monthly maximum payout of R2 080

Pensioners Grant (Older Person’s Grant):

This grant is given to people over the age of 60 who are unable to work and earn a living. People aged 60 to 75 will receive R2 080 per month, while those over 75 will receive R2 100 per month.

Grant-In-Aid:

Individuals who are receiving a social grant but are unable to care for themselves are eligible for this assistance. They will receive this additional grant to pay the person who cares for them full-time, which amounts to R500 per month.

War Veteran’s Grant:

If you are a formal soldier who served in the Second World War (1939 to 1945) or the Korean War (1950 to 1953) and are unable to support yourself financially, you will be eligible for this grant of R2 100 per month.

Please keep in mind:

The payment amounts listed above are current as of 1 April 2023; amounts are subject to change in April and October of each year.
Candidates who receive an Older Persons/ Pensioners grant or a Disability grant will be paid first, followed by other grant recipients one or two days later.
